Hello,

I installed the new 275.27 beta driver for my GTX 460. Since then, boot time for windows 7 HP 64 has been very slow. The screen pauses on my motherboard image for around 30 seconds and then pauses for another 15 seconds on the starting windows screen. I am running a crucial ssd, and boot time was a matter of seconds before. Any solutions that would allow me to keep the driver? thanks.

I'd say this is a driver issue. Well, guess there isn't another way apart from rolling back to the older drivers.
Also, why do you want to keep the drivers ( 275.27 BETA ) ? Any game or program running slow for you ?

Some points:
1) why not simply restore your previous NVidia driver to see if your problem goes away?

2) your first slowdown can not be software related if Windows hasn't even started loading. If the screen pauses on your motherboard image that is because your motherboard BIOS is testing all your hardware and something is hanging it up.

You can't do anything in the case of the motherboard slow-down except to update the BIOS if new firmware comes out or remove/replace the hardware that it's slowing down on.

Do you have Quickboot on or off? (if OFF it may be running a diagnostic on something)
