Hello, so this started a week ago when i installed windows 8.1 (integrated updates to Feb/2014)(clean boot install). first the computer froze on me then it couldn't read the SSD, so i went in the computer to make sure the cords where firm, after that it seem to pick up on the SSD but would take 10 minutes to load windows, apps are slow and take forever to open, stuck on start menu for 15 minutes when before it was less then a minute to boot up and everything opened without barely any load times . now the computer seems to pick up speeds during the after noon(weird, right?), i leave my computer on during the night to download because that's when i get unlimited bandwidth and my girlfriend shuts it off in the mornings and i turn it back on if not 1-2hrs later with a slow start-up and if not, a very long boot of windows 8 prepping and repair of the C:/ (SSD Drive). my SSD is a little less then a year old, i have updated drivers on the computer. could this be an avast problem? i know with old windows 8 i had problems with crashing and blue screens because of avast. are these signs of my SSD failing? thanks in advance!
