Slow computer help!

Help!!!
My new asus notebook laptop is INCREDIBLY SLOW!!! I have read some commented from above and have noticed that my CPU is very high it's running at 44% and my memory is 35% please help me make my computer faster!!!

well.. what is your computer? you go a model number or some specs for us?
but more to the point - what is it doing? if its use 44% CPU.. what is it using it on?
Use the task manager to see whats happening and what eating up your CPU..
(google it if you don't know how)..
