I have a new modem and router all set-up properly. When I connected my desktop to my modem directly I get the correct 100+ mbps speeds. When I plug into my router it decreases drastically to around 10 mbps. I tried a different ethernet cable that was in a different port and it worked and now I get my 100+ mbps with my desktop. If I change the port even with a new cable it goes back down to 10 and if I use the current cable in a different slot it goes to 10. I bought new cat-6 cables in hopes it would work, but no luck. The cable I'm using is about 25 feet long and it's in port 2. I have the Linksys AC2600 EA8500, so it can definitely handle 100+ mbps. I should also note when I plugged it into the modem I used a different ethernet cable. What would cause such a weird situation where only 1 cable in a specific port give me my correct speeds?

When I use a new cat-6 cable in the same port I only get 10 mbps though.
