Had to format and clean install Windows 10. Went onto the dell site and downloaded all drivers for my Aurora R7 system. Also, did windows update, and driver update software to download more drivers.

My problem is, since reinstalling my external USB Hdd enclosure can only transfer at a rate of about 50megs / second. Ive tried to enable write caching but it says "Windows could not change the write caching setting for the device. Your device might not support this feature or changing the settings" ( I had this enabled before )

Upon further investigation I noticed in the device manager under USB controllers the hdd shows up as USB Mass Storage Device (USBSTOR.SYS). To my knowledge if USAP is enabled it should show up as "USB Attached SCSI (UAS) Mass Storage Device"

Ive reinstalled chipset drivers from the alienware website, as well as the intel website. But I still cant get this issue resolved.

Any ideas? cheers!

Try to delete all partitions and create only single partition.
