Slow forum?

I love the content here at the thg forums but accessing it is another story. Is this forum mind numbingly slow for everyone here or is it just me? I have a very fast cable connex that I have never had a single problem with. I use firefox and IE and it just doesnt seem to work right with either. Any link I click here sends me to the blank gray screen of boredom for what seems like forever, the hourglass disappears but the screen continues to stay blank for a long time. Is there a browser setting that would help or is this just the way it is.

Sometimes it goes fast for me, but other times it goes slow...and I'm on a 512kb/128kb cable connection. So I don't know.

Yes, I am having the same problems. Rarely it is fast but 80% of the time it is terribly slow regardless of from where I am accessing it.
