I Reinstalled windows 7, it works just fine but with one problem- the internet (Download speed) is very very slow.

So I checked some guides (a lot of them) and neither of them help me, so a little background:

1)I checked my speed at speedof.me (can't run speedtest.com couse it needs java) my download speed was 2 mb/s (my ping was fine- around 70)
2)I used cmd to install (again(?)) ipv4
3) I do not have AMD quickstream (a lot of ppl had this problem)
4)the installation is with all the new updates (Maybe because of that- don't have much info about that)
5) the problem is not with wirless adapter, tried it on a different computer and used a brand new on this computer (I have a pc btw)- didn't work
6)I unplogged the router, several times.
7)I download the "newest" (It was preety old) driver of the adapter, even tho I never used it- the problem remained.

It will be great if someobody would help me. I'm stuck on this for days, it's a realy hard problem.
I searched the internet for answer but it was never it 🙁
I suspect the updates of windows did something- I rarely installed them and when I did with the formating my internet was slow, but I don't know which one (and there are a lot)

thank you very very much in advance!

You need to isolate your potential issues. You could have wireless speed issues and Internet speed issues, and each have different solutions.

Run your speed tests with a wired connection to determine the impact of each. Then run the free wifi analyzer (inSSIDer free version) from HERE to determine if you have interference from other networks.

And what is the issue with running a java based program like speedtest.net?

Ok, so I got the problem (btw If I could do a wired connection I would gladly), for any others who are with this problem- disable completly windows firewall, ohhh, if I only found out sooner...
thank you realbeast- now I face with another problem, my computer won't recognize my wireless adapter
