Slow Internet on christmas

Hey, Merry Christmas. So I recently got a new game on steam (Fallout 4) and my download speed has bombed the past day and I can't watch 720-1080 videos like I used to maybe 2-3 days ago. I recently got and hooked up an airport extreme and I have been having great internet (wifi) but ever since today it sucks. Is the reason because it is Christmas and so many people are playing/downloading games. I just want to know if it will be over soon because I have been installing Fallout 4 for over 2 hours and I'm at 45 percent, thanks. -R

I would say most likely cause of the holiday, but it wouldn't hurt to just reboot your modem and/or router for extra measures.
