Slow Internet Only On Desktop

So here's my dilema;

I recently reinstalled Windows 7 so everything was fresh and clean to only find that now my Internet is painfully slow, like doesn't load any web pages slow but works fine on my laptop as well as every other device in the house. I've got a feeling the wireless adapter might be going but I'm not too sure.

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and my Wireless Adapter I'm using is a Netgear WNA3100.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Is is just the internet or is the whole computer loading things really slow?

Try hooking desktop straight to router and see if it is still slow.

The issue is just the Internet on the computer seems to not work, it tells me that it's connected and the connection is good yet when I proceed to Google it doesn't load anything.

So its only the computer and all other Wifi devices work fine?
