"Slow" internet speeds, worth it to invest in AC technologies?

I live in Venezuela, and here, the biggest ISP is still on DSL connection where the fastest connection available is 10Mbps.

Is it worth it to invest in an AC router given that I am going to be capped on speeds? It doesn't seem like the ISP is going to switch to cable or fiber anytime soon, so I'm not expecting big changes in the internet connection speeds.

Right now, i'm using a Wireless N router and my service is 6Mbps.

Upgrading the router will only improve the connectivity between your devices; it won't improve internet browsing or download speed.

I know that. Im just asking if im limited by my ISP service, is it worth it to invest in AC technology? I pay for 6mbps and already getting 6mbps so maybe theres no point in upgrading? I dont know how much the conectivity is going to improve going from N technology to AC

802.11ac will offer greater range and throughput for your LAN traffic, that's all. Your 6Mbps speed is determined by your ISP and upgrading the router won't help that.
