Slow internet with Asus DSL-N17U

I have two DSL routers with same configuration (I think so) , one is TECHNICOLOR TD5130 V2 (provided by the ISP Maroc Telecom) and the other one is Asus DSL-N17U which I bought to use the nice features.
I pay for a 12Mbps / 1 Mbps, when I do a speed test with the TECHNICOLOR I easily get 10 Mbps but with Asus I only get 6Mbps, both test trough WiFi using my phone and oOkla speedtest .
could you please help solve this issue to use the Asus router and get the correct speed?

WIFI is not reliable to test router speed. Start with a wired connection, do you get the advertised speed then?

12Mb/s is low enough that any WIFI router should handle that OK. Is your WIFI testing from within the same room as the router?

I get the same result with the wired connection, also the same room just standing by the routers.
Also I noticed that get different data rate for each router with same cable in the same splitter socket
Asus : 9 152 Kbps
Technicolor: 12 495 Kbps

It is possible there is still an MTU problem on the Asus. I would also recommend you do a factory reset on the Asus, then setup a minimum configuration. Set the admin password, SSID, and WIFI password and any ISP required info. Nothing else. Then test with the Asus.

I have reset the router, and did the test again using a wired connection, unfortunately I got the same result

If a factory reset, with minimal config doesn't correct it, then I don't have a recommendation.
