Slow loading file explorer

Hi,
I am running win 10 64bit on a ssd. Recently the file explorer loading extremely slow. The side bar folder will not expand with only "Quick access" and "This PC" left. The drives and the folders will not show as well. I have to repeatedly close and reopen the file explorer until I get all the drives and folder loaded.
I have tried sfc scan, checked on the virus infection, cleaned with ccleaner, reset folder options etc but nothing worked.
I checked the event log and there were only two event logs appeared.
DllHost (9996,G,98) The beta feature EseDiskFlushConsistency is enabled in ESENT due to the beta site mode settings 0x800000.
svchost (10588,G,98) The beta feature EseDiskFlushConsistency is enabled in ESENT due to the beta site mode settings 0x800000.


I couldn't find any useful info with regard to these. Any advice? thanks in advance

Is your ssd near full?
If so, it will have difficulty with updates.

no. it has plenty of free space. more than 200gb

You said the problem started recently.
What has changed recently?

Perhaps you have a virus or malware.
Perhaps a windows update has screwed things up.

Consider using system restore to reset back to when all was well.

Download ssd tool from manifacturer's website and look at it's health, might be degrading. Might need a firmware update.
