Can anyone advise me about a lag or slow down scanning through the network?
We have two Canon multifunctionals that we use through network for printing and scaning in the office. We are 5 people and we often scan with one of the two printers. The problem is that the scan takes much longer than if we used a cable. If we scan on the both multifunctionals at the same time, the scanning time is doubled, and moreover at that time, the documents stored on a Network Storage can be accessed very hard, the internet also.
Before, we had a TP Link router and network scanning went smoothly, absolutely no problem. Now we have D-Link 605L and I think the problem comes from the router. Do you know if I can solve the problem in the router settings, is there any firewall that slows down the network or any port with problems?
One of the multifunctionals is cable connected and the newer one is connected wirelessly.
