Im not sure if Im in the right topic. Im on my brothers pc right now and Im not noticing that it is rather slow. It is a Dell Core 2 Quad 2.3 ghz with 6 or 8 gb of ram and i think it has a hd3450. Im playing flash games and theyre running twice as slow as my pc which has a Phenom II x4 830 2.8 ghz with 4 gb of ram and a 9600gt. My brothers pc has had the same windows installation for well over two years so im thinking maybe he needs to do some maintenance like disk cleanup and maybe a registry boost. If anyone has any tips they think i should give him I would appreciate your advice. Thank you.

Is it just the gaming that is noticeably slower? Here are some things to do to clean up the system:

Download, install, and run:

1. CCleaner
2. Super Antispyware
3. Malwarebytes Antimalware

Do not run the software simultaneously. After you've cleaned out the system, do a disk defragment.

my video card was only $50 - $60 off ebay. ill suggest to him that he cleans up his pc and defragments. I was using the guest account on his pc and i noticed him playing flash games with no problem yesterday in the admin account. I don't know if that had anything to do with the speed i was experiencing.
