Slow SCSI on XP

Has anyone heard of SCSI running slow on XP professional. There is supposed to be a fix but I can't find it anyone know of this issue and where the fix is.

d00d, the would explain my CDRW problems in XP, all I ever got with XP was buffer underruns, it was the final straw that made me switch back to 98SE, never an underrun again!

What's the frequency, Kenneth?
