Hi
My PC is running on Win 8.1 x64. Its installed on a Samsung EVO 850 120GB SSD.
My boot times are pretty fast under 25 seconds.
However its takes ages to shutdown. Once i choose the shutdown command, the OS logs out and the display goes black but the cpu still keeps running for 40secs - 60secs then it finally shuts down.

I have checked the 'ClearPageFileAtShutdown' from 'regrdit'. It is set to '0'. So it should not be an issue.

My Specs:
i5 4590
Gigabyte G1 Sniper B6
4GB x2 Corsair Vengeance 1600GHz RAM
Samsung EVO 850 120GB SSD
3TB + 1TB 7200RPM HDD
MSI GTX 970 4GB

Okay i just installed Samsung Magician and checked the firmware of the SSD. It says its already on the latest firmware.
I also applied the Maximum Performance Profile for the OS from that application. Still the shutdown takes like 30 secs after the display goes blank.
