Hi Guys,

I have recently got a new computer and am slightly concerned by the benchmark scores I am getting with a CrystalDiskMark and AS SSD. I have an Adata SU650 240gb SSD.

Here are the scores I get in AS SSD:
Read Write
Seq 510 MB/s 175.11 MB/s
4K 12.86MB/s 66.32 MB/s
4K-64Thrd 140.20 MB/s 254.08 MB/s
Acc.time 0.080 ms 0.156ms

Here are the scores I get in Crystal:
Read Write
Seq Q32T1 546.7 188.8
4KiB Q8T8 110.9 270.5
4KiB Q32T1 110.4 191.3
3KiB Q1T1 15.22 77.15

I have reinstalled Windows 10 and still get the same sort of scores. Can someone tell me if this is normal for this drive or is there something else that could be causing these poor speeds?

System Specs
Intel I7-8700k
16gb DDR4 2666
Gigabyte B360M-D3P Motherboard
Adata SU650 SSD
Seagate Barracuda 2TB HD

Hi WildCard999,

According to Adata SSD Toolbox, it has the latest firmware so really not sure what is happening here 🙁
I have emailed Adata themselves to see what they say, otherwise I will approach the company I brought the computer from I think.

Adata were useless, they would not accept it until I ran the speed test without it being a main OS drive. This is irrelevant in my opinion as never had this problem before with any other drives.
The problem has got a lot more strange now, I have tried two different drives in the system and those were also showing low speeds. I also put the original drive in a laptop to test and the speeds were both over 500MB/s!!
So tried a different Sata Cable and different Sata Port and this has not made any difference at all, really at my wits end with this machine now!

Also, the 2tb Seagate drive I have is reporting speeds about 250MB/s on both read and write, so any SSD in that machine is no better than a standard HDD. So confused now!
