With the upgrade of my pc it seemed to have come with both longer start up, shut down and restarting time.
The latest bios time right now is 19.5 seconds which seems quite high.
I have MRC fast boot on, Fast Boot on, MCH full check off.
Factory reset my computer a few days ago with minimal software and programs installed, only 1 program running at startup.
Could anybody enlighten me?
Also windows is installed on my SSD

Can you provide your full system specification including your windows version?.

1. I see you have the latest BIOS, will you be able to clarify if this existing problem happening before or after your lastest installed BIOS?.

2. Please check with your windows troubleshoot if they find any corrupted files or you can uninstall your latest windows update and reinstall it. Still, if your problem persists, I might suggest you for a clean system format.

Keep us updated. :)

19.5 seconds in BIOS is not related with operating systems on any kind of drive in any way. Fix the BIOS issue at first:
  • Check if POST procedure goes faster if all drives (mentioned SSD and other drives you have connected at now) are disconnected. If POST goes much faster now, maybe SSD developed a problem.
  • If nothing changes, clear BIOS settings and try again.
Wouldn't hurt to check if newer BIOS version is available at end too.

I'm running latest BIOS, literally updated a few hours ago 😛, with that of course, my bios was reset to default, all I've done is set up my overclock and enabled both fast boots and disabled mch full check.
So I should disconnect everything but the ssd?
