Slow usb ports

i have toshiba satellite .when i plug my memory stik in,says there are no fasy ports on this pc..help

Sounds like you have an older system with USB 1.0 ports and your are plugging in a USB 2.0 device. When that happens, the USB 2.0 device if forced into USB 1.0 mode and it runs slower than it would otherwise. It will work, just not a fast as it could otherwise. Not really an issue. Good luck!
