slow web browsing following DA: I download

So I recently purchased an ASUS ROG GL551JW-WH71(WX) Intel i7 2.6GHz 8GB Memory 1TB HDD GTX960M 2GB 15.6-inch Full HD Gaming Laptop. Sounds impressive on paper. I downloaded DA: Inquisition (which looks fine) but anytime I try to access the web it runs unbelievably slow, to the point where I can't even google a question.

I'm not knowledgeable about computers in the slightest, but is there anything I can do? Is this a memory issue or something else? Any tips would be great~

Are you trying to browse while the game is open? (Alt+Tab out of game for browser)?

goto bleepingcomputer.com and download run JRT ==> roguekiller ==> adwcleaner then reboot.

Check to see if web runs better (what program you use to go on internet ? firefox, chrome, internet explorer ?
are you wired or going wireless?

Here's hoping it's not game-related. The program is chrome and it's a wireless connection. And thanks! I'll give that site a shot as soon as I get home.
