Slow Wi-Fi speed on certain apps

I have a 10Mbps connection. When using the Wi-Fi in the router's room, phone's speedtest shows 8-9Mbps. When using YouTube, I can play 1080p video. However when using Flipboard, the speeds seems to fall to almost zero. Netflix can't stream.

What's the issue?

What country are you in?

Could be a speed problem between where you are and where the server you are connecting to is based.

So accessing some servers (youtube is quick) when accessing other servers (Netflix) is slower.

I am in India. This problem did not exist before and Netflix works when using my cellular service provider.
