Hello! I had to take my desktop PC to a computer shop recently to get a new video card checked out. The computer guy confirmed my guess that the video card was defective and he had updated BIOS. I put in my old video card back in, for the record. :3

I updated my 802.11n Wireless LAN Card driver, but still have very slow and fluctuating speeds on my desktop PC, which had BIOS updated.

Here is what my connection status is to the network on my desktop, if it helps: http://i.imgur.com/QOOkYVt.png

My iPad, laptop, and iPhone, can connect to the internet as usual with the same speed it always has. Granted the speed wasn't that great, anyways.

OS: Win 7 (64-bit) Home Premium

If I haven't provided enough information, then I'm sorry and you can ask me if it would lead to a solution. I'm not a very good tech person, and I don't really understand all that this stickied thread asks for.

the pic u have it more like the antenna cannot get stable/quality signal than bios/software problem.. (2 bar only)

try to move your antenna / case to better position to get at least 3-4 bar or 5 bar if u can..
u may need to buy antenna extension cable..

edit : some thing like metal (box, etc), or other source of frequency (mobile phone, speaker, etc) could
interfere with the signal so don't place them near the antenna..
