Hi All, I have had my new PC for about 4 months now and my internet on it is horrendus, i am getting 4.93Mbps on my new PC, 50+Mbps on my laptop and 50+Mbps on my iphone and other devices.

I currently have installed the TP-LINK TL-WN881ND 300Mbps Wireless N PCI Express Adapter which i have disabled and tried my spare usb wifi adapter which was even worse. I have tried disabling my firewall and turning my antivirus off and nothing changes. I have looked for hours and im on the edge of a fresh restart with ponentially days to get my documents back. Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you in advance

Cheers matey but it didn't work. I have now gone as far as resetting windows completely and trying from there which also shows the same, my WiFi speed (on the network connections screen) is 144.4 Mbps but im still getting around about the 5 Mbps mark downloading and on speed test websites, not the 50+Mbps im getting on my laptop in the same location. Any more ideas. Again thank you for helping me :)

A 144Mbit link speed is a 2.4Ghz connection. That will have 75Mbit throughput. Or about 9MB/s downloads.
If you have 144Mbit link speed it isn't your WIFI that is limiting your performance with a 50Mbit WAN speed.
I think you are going to have to boot a Linux USB OS and retest.

Thanks for the help but ive never used Linux before and wouldn't even know where to start :/ surly it has to be the network card that would be the problem as i have done a fresh install on windows? thanks again :)
