Slow Windows 8 Start Up

I have a fast computer so there should be no reason it should be slow let me explain
it starts up but none of my starting programs open, none of my icons show up and all i can use is google chrome until about 2 minutes then my icons appear and my starting programs all boot up
why?!?!?!

May I know your PSU Wattage? When has this started occuring? Has it been all fine and then happened all of a sudden?
