Slow wireless connection

Hello,
so i have sony bravia tv and i want to share content from pc to tv (movies) and yeah the tv finds me but when its time to stream it just dont load.Sometimes if i am lucky i get the first frame of the movie.So why is that slow i recently bought a really nice router it is connected and i have no explanation.

P.S I dont know is this is the correct section.

is your router relatively close to the tv? i mean your signal strenght may apear good but thats not enough, you need good quality too. keep router away from metalic surfaces (or other elecronic) that could be jamming your signal.are you using dlna?

Yes i am using dlna and it is possible that my router is just behind my pc could reduce the signal?If i pull it up could it be better?

yes. you try that. trasfering videos are were talking about mb/s you need great speed

maybe the videos you try steaming exceed the (dlna) speed. does this happen on al videos?
