Hi,

I'm running a 250GB SAMSUNG 860 on a ASUS Z370 tuf pro gaming motherboard, i7 8700k , 8GB ddr4 3000 RAM.

With AsSSD and ATTO, my read speeds are as expected (normal i guess), with 510-530MB/s, but my write speeds cap at about 300-310Mb/s.

AsSSD result : https://prnt.sc/krwwgk

Firmware updated to the last version.

Any ideas where should I start?

Solution
I have the same SSD and same 'problem' - only with sequential write, it dropped from 520 MB/s (write) last month to 320-ish MB/s ?! Tested with Crystal Diskmark, i run those benchmarks so now and then to see everything is still okay and save the results so i can compare it.

All the other tests (4k, read / write etc) are the same and in spec...Only sequential write dropped.
Almost suspect a Windows update or something.

How full is it?

Just for the heck of it, you could try the built-in storage benchmark: WinSAT (System Assessment Tool). It's just "winsat disk -drive (letter of drive, presumably "c")" at the command prompt. That gives you latencies and a couple more details.

%28 full and i dont understand that winsat thing why should test it with it ? (tryed lots of benchmarks atto asssd crystalbenchmark etc. and all of them giving almost same restuls around 300-320 mb/s)

I'm not trying to dismiss the results you have, just get more information.

To run winSAT, you run Command Prompt as the administrator. You can hit the Windows key to bring up a search field, then type "cmd." It will probably at the top of the pane. Right-click the listing and left-click "run as administrator." Then type this:

winsat disk -drive c

This is another benchmark, but it will give you read latency, write latency, maximum latency, and a 95th percentile latency. It's just another source I think is worth looking at.

A couple more questions:
Which Windows version are you running? (I've assumed you are using Windows)
Is anything else running with the benchmarks? Are you downloading anything?

i am using windows 10 home 1803 build. i did winsat here is the results : https://prnt.sc/kryss0 and only necessary programs running background ( liquid coolers drivers etc.) and i checked it from task manager nothing really using disk that much(disk usage goes %0-5 ish so problem not the background programs activity i guess.)
