[SOLVED] Slower CPU speeds on Ubuntu compared to windows

I am having problems with my CPU speeds on ubuntu, when I dual boot to windows my CPU speeds are stable at 4.6 ghz(amd 3800x) while when I switch to ubuntu, its as low as 2.0 ghz, any idea how to fix this?

Does your CPU get up to 4.6GHz in Ubuntu while gaming? This could just be your CPU throttling down because there's no load - which is normal.

It's not like the performance is good when Im doing normal tasks like on google, or on zoom calls, it's still very slow and its noticeable, I will try gaming though.
