Wanting to upgrade computer to play WoW with stable fps on medium+ settings @ 1680x1050 120hz

CPU: i5-750 @ 2.67GHz
GPU: Radeon HD 5750 1 GB
RAM: 4GB x 2 DDR3 664MHz (9-9-9-24)

74 GB Intel SSD
Mobo: DFI Lanparty P55-T36

Would it be better to upgrade, to overclock and look for cooling solutions, or both? I am currently looking to upgrade the mini-ITX case I have and I am buying a 2nd hard drive for storage. CPU temps sit @ 65-75 C on the stock cooler as it is.

Currently, I'm deciding between a GTX 1050 and 1060. Any thoughts on the cards appreciated

The 1050 will play WoW on highest settings at 1080p easily... The 1060 is probably a little overkill for that game however it would be more current and would play newer titles better... if it's just WoW you are playing, get whichever you can get cheaper.

WoW minimum requirement I think is an HD 5670... your 5750 should be okay at minimum settings, but for what you require I would think a gtx 660 or an R9 270x should do the trick... but it's definitely your graphics card that is slowing you down.
