SM BUS Controller Driver

I need to resolve a SM Bus Controller issue with my P745 Toshiba Satellite. It is not recognizing the modem or network to o to the Internet. I have Windows 7, can you explain what it needs to operate properly again.

go to toshiba website and download the chipset driver

if cant connect the laptop you will need to download on another pc and copy the files to a flash drive
