SM172X - discontinued?

Has the Samsung 172X LCD been discontinued and replaced by the SM710 series, or is it still sold as an alternate product? I much prefer the former's styling, and therefore should snap one up before they all go out of stock...

The 172x is not discontinued at all. The 710 is an alternative model that uses a different type of panel in its construction (refer to other recent samsung threads for details).
