Hello all,

I am looking for recommendations on a case that will fit the following in the smallest footprint possible.

  • ATX motherboard (not Micro ATX or Mini ITX)
Tower-style cooler (something like the NH-D15) or an AIO Watercooler
    1 5.25in Optical Drive
    2 GTX 1080 FTW
    Corsair AX860 PSU
Good cooling configuration (don't mind buying additional fans)
I've looked at the following cases and each have things I like but also some things I don't like about them:

  • Corsair Air 540 - Just a touch too big and slightly too 'gamer' looking, love it otherwise
Cooler Master HAF XB - Pretty good size wise but more 'gamer' looking than the Air 540, I like more understated, elegant looking cases
Fractal Design Node 804 - Very nice looking case but unfortunately doesn't fit an ATX motherboard and doesn't accommodate a 5.25 optical. Would require me replacing my motherboard and optical drive.

I am interested to see your recommendations.

Thanks much,

Mr0000000000

What about looking into more 'HTPC' dimensions? something like the Silverstock GD09B? Or GD08B if you wanted a second 5.25" bay?

You can't quite fit an NH-D15 in there, but some (slightly) smaller air coolers will work.
Cyorig M9i, Noctua NH-U9S , NH-C14 etc all fit in there just fine.

AIO liquid support is out of the question though (at least officially).

The PSU, 5.25" bay, dual GPUs and a decent sized cooler can all be accommodated:

What dimensions are you looking for?
Here is a review of the Anidees AI7
https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Anidees/AI7/

It has excellent airflow for dual graphics cards.
It can handle full size air coolers.
The NH-D15 is HUGE.
I recommend the noctua NH-U14s
The s variants are redesigned for ram clearance, and more importantly to clear graphics cards in the first slot.

I'm actually looking for a replacement to my GD09 - it's a pretty good case but cooling options get limited to very low-profile coolers with an optical drive installed. Also, with no front intake the GPUs are relying on the left-side intake to breathe.
