Small Business Network Advice

Hello!

I'm looking for advice on upgrading my small office network. Currently we have Comcast Business Internet running in with an eight port wired router (I don't know the make/model off hand, but I can find out) and we are looking to expand.

The type of router I'm looking for is a Wired 12+ port that can support wifi. (It's not necessary though)

Also the computers itself are running VPN software which I'm not sure would conflict with some routers that offer it. This software vpn is mandatory and I have no say in that.

Any advice would be great!

Thanks in advance

-Aaron

I agree with Boosted1g here. A 8/16/24-port switch is super-cheap, and much less to add/manage than a whole new router. If you get a gigabit switch, then you can hook all of your PCs into it, and then take one cable to plug into one of the ports on your router. All your PCs will then communicate at full gigabit speed (provided they support GB), and you won't have to make any VPN changes by keeping the same router.
