Hello everyone! I am in need for help this christmas because I want to get into pc gaming. I don't have enough money to build my own computer and I am stuck with a Gateway DX Series computer! I want to get a good graphics card that I can fit into my case, enough to be able to run battlefield 3 on medium at 40-50 or DayZ or DayZ Standalone on Medium - High at 35-40 FPS please help! :) Thank you
I will be willing to pay up to $120 Dollars Maybe $150 :)

Is this a standard size computer or a small form factor(slim)? Also, we will need to know what your power supply specs are, and even your whole computer specs. Maybe even the exact model of PC you have.

Well the exact model would be the Gateway DX4870 Specs:
Type: Mainstream, Value
Processor Family: Intel Core i3
Processor Name: Intel Core i3-3220
Processor Speed: 3.3 GHz
RAM: 6 GB
But am not sure on the case size
Storage Capacity (as Tested): 1000 GB
Storage Type: HDD
Graphics Card: Intel HD Graphics 2500
Primary Optical Drive: Dual-Layer DVD+/-RW
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8

Not real sure on the powersupply but about 300w-350w
Website i found from : http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2407203,00.asp?tab=Specs
Thanks, I can upgrade power supply if needed

I have looked at those but I am not real sure that my case is big enough for it! :)
Height 14.92"
Width 7.09"
Depth 15.82"
These are the dimensions of the case and fits Micro ATX boards only! :) Thanks Or if there is anyway I can get a new case to move things that might be ok, but for now I need to see if i can get a graphics card thats good and fits in the case :)

I'd go for a GTX650Ti as mentioned above. You may need to use the molex to PCI-E adapter, but you should be ok. The only concern I'd have is it recommends a 400W PSU of above. Do you have the exact specs. It looks like from a few images online it is an FSP PSU that you should be able to read the specs from if you take the side off.

Those are the exact specs aside from the processor which is a Intel Core i3-3240
:) thanks for the help :)

The only thing is that I am young and thought that the GTX 610 would be the best graphics card ever (I found out that it was not the case) But I have learned way more from then, and the card would rub against the case or the motherboard, but I would assume that it would not be the case now
