Greetings. I was thinking of upgrading my small form factor Acer Aspire x3910 (details: http://www.cnet.com/products/acer-aspire-x3910-u4022-pentium-e5800-3-2-ghz-4-gb-1-tb/specs/) but it has a pretty limited range for upgrades. Anyway after some research I stumbled upon this low profile gpu. Now my question:
is my 220w psu adequate to run this gpu without any problems? If not, could you suggest any other Gpus better than the current one?. Thank you for your time.

Solution
This low profile GTX 750 can fit into your case as I see your case has two available PCI slots in the back near the top of your case. Here is tom's hardware news coverage on specific GTX 750 model. (Also sorry for using a newegg link but I couldn't find the card for a decent price on amazon. I am aware newegg does not ship to european countries. Just google the model name yourself or try to find it at your favorite store and see if they have it for a decent price there.)

Regarding the question of your motherboard, any GPU (including the one you chose) would be compatible with your motherboard regardless of the PCI-E version of either the port itself or card. The PCI-E revisions only major differentiation is the amount...
Your PSU should be able to handle that card alright, even though your PSU is an OEM-grade PSU. The card you chose is fairly low-end and is closer to the consumer level instead of a gaming level. For what reason do you wish to upgrade your GPU?

I'm not into demanding gaming performances. Maybe I'll play Skyrim again in a better detail, but what I really need it for is a bit quicker 3d rendering. My current gpu isn't supported and all the rendering falls to the cpu. Anyway my budget allows me to go up to 55€-60€ is there any other adequate solution?

The only other low-powered card I can think of that will run on your PSU and still fit is the GTX 750 or 750 Ti. The GTX 750 will deliver much greater performance than the card you chose but it is a bit more costly so you might have to be patient and save up.

Also skyrim is almost completely dependant on having a good CPU. It does benefit from a good GPU too as well though but the game is primarily CPU bound.

Unfortunately it won't fit in such a slim case. Thanks anyway. One final question: My PCI-E port is a 2.0 version whereas the GPU specs say that the card is PCI-E 2.1. will it be compatible with my motherboard?

First of all thank you for your patience. I did some comparisons between the Geforce 315 and some Asus Gpus and it looks like they won't be worth their money. I guess I can wait until I have enough money to buy the one you recommended.
