Question Small MB + CPU upgrade: Sensible choice?

Hi people, I'm about to upgrade my current rig:

Fans: be quiet! Light Wings (120mm PWM, 1700 rpm)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X 3.8 GHz 6-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Evo 43.1 CFM
Motherboard: Asus PRIME B450M-K Micro ATX AM4

I think I have found two good units:

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
Motherboard: MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK

Does this make sense? I'm primarily thinking in terms of cost-benefit + actually getting my Light Wings to work

What case are you working with? If you're not restricted to working with an matx case, then yes you're in the clear to get the upgrades while you look into ARGB connectivity for the fans. Also, you stated fans, how many do you have to work with?

Oh, I forgot about that issue. I've got a:

Case: NZXT H510i ATX Mid Tower

Currently I've got two fans (one at the rear end and in the top of the case).
