my case does not have alot of room from the mobo to the case lid, i need a small but powerful cpu cooler, any ideas(i would like to spend around $50)

Solution
^ I don't have anything against an 8 core fx (I have one myself) - what I meant was there are not many small coolers that will do a decent job of keeping one cool under load.

Out of those 3
The cryorig has the best performance (its not fun to fit though)
The noctua is the easiest to fit by miles but is expensive.
The raijintek is the lowest height with the biggest fan & is quieter than the other 2

They will all do a decent job.
How much room do you have?

Generally, bigger is better because a larger cooler will have more mass to sink the heat to and more fins to dissipate that heat.

Try measuring the height from your CPU to the case, then get a cooler that fits. Coolermaster, Zalman, Noctua (sorta), Corsair, etc all have low profile options.

I'm loathe to recommend a 92mm tower for an 8 core fx BUT this will absutely do the job.

If you're careful you can get away without removing the motherboard from the case (the cooler uses the stock amd backplate but you do need to unscrew the stock amd cooler mount from the front of the board)

Its expensive but good.

Other options
Cryorig h5(none in stock anywhere I can find at the minute)

Raijintek Pallas - big 140mm blower style cooler

Both the above would necessitate motherboard removal as it looks like your case has no rear CPU tray cutout.

so these are the choices? as i said around $50 so no really go over that mark, do they all preform about the same>
(also what do u have against a 8 core fx)
