Small Program for Quick Test of CPU Performance

I have a ten year old Windows computer with a Celeron D processor. It seems to run quite slow on both WinXP and Linux and I'd like to check out the processor and just make sure it is running to specification.

What programs are available that run under WinXP? I'd like to avoid large programs such as Sandra and Cinebench.

Thanks for the link to the OCCT program.

Will that program measure CPU performance and provide a result, or is it mostly for checking overclocked systems for stability over an extended period of time?

if you use is on test at the end it will give a report of it i usualy do a 10 minutes test .
