Smaller text with new monitor?

I've recently added a second monitor to my setup, and I have seen on both screens that some text is a smaller font size. http://imgur.com/a/f2dXi
There is also this gap where an icon used to fit on my desktop, but now doesn't. https://imgur.com/a/I4wtd If I move one there, I can't read the name of it. Could this be because my main monitor is 25" and my second is 27"?

You need to re-adjust your screen resolutions.

Right-click your desktop and select 'Screen Resolution,' this will bring up a control panel where you can adjust the resolutions for both your screens so that they display correctly. You'll just need to play with the settings until you find the one that suits you.

Both of the monitors are still at 1920x1080. The resolution is fine, it's just that some text is smaller. Previous to adding the 2nd monitor, I could run each one separately with no issue at 1920x1080.
