im in college and have a gaming/editing pc. i want a smaller pc case so its easier to move from say college to home. i have the cooler master haf test bench(which is way to big). are there any small ATX(i cant replace any parts for smaller ones) that i can get?

what if i got a htpc case or a stacker? can htpc cases even be used as a regular computer case? it wont be hooked up to a tv but a monitor, that means i wont be using it for any of the tv related purposes

you're screwed either way. the case has to be big enough to handle the full-size ATX mobo (so that dictates 2 measurements), and your graphics card dictates the 3rd measurement. even if you had your card mounted on an L-bracket / adapter, it's still likely a double-height card, which wouldn't make much difference. then you gotta stuff the power supply somewhere. even if you just had one or two SSDs, you're either making a custom case yourself, or dealing with big pre-made cases.

if you could replace the board with an ITX version (and move the CPU, RAM, Graphics, etc), then that would make a massive difference.
