Hey all,
I'm fairly newb in building computers etc.
However last year a build one with following interior:
msi 399 sli plus motherboard
threadripper ryzen
140x150mm fan x2
Noctua nh-u14s tr4 - spr
GeForce 960 graphics card
Corsair psu 750w hx750

my question is, I want to have a smaller case or setup do you know of any smaller case that fits my motherboard and graphics card or do I need to even also change them.
All the bests

Solution
Yep, with what we have so far there are literally hundreds of cases to choose from.

Most will be of a similar volume, though they may have a different shape. Depends on what you are after in terms of space saving.

Front mounted power supplies tend for longer cases, but they will be that much shorter. Horizontal layouts will flatten the shape, often having the power supply directly under or over the motherboard. Those might be the two that will get you something different, but not strictly smaller.

There are older chassis that have no space behind the motherboard tray. They are narrower, but then you have to cram the cables in with everything else. Not that desirable.

Basically an ATX motherboard, Graphics card, and that CPU cooler...

Basically an ATX motherboard, Graphics card, and that CPU cooler, and that power supply is going to define your choices. Unless you are willing to replace the power supply for an SFX unit or get a smaller motherboard (Only a MicroATX on offer, welcome to the world of enormous CPUs) then you are pretty much stuck with a basic mid-tower.

If you truly want a smaller system, best would be to sell this hardware off and start a Mini-ITX build with Ryzen or Intel, there are even Mini-ITX HEDT boards from Intel.
