SMART attributes for brand new hard drive?

I just bought a new (old stock) WD RE4 250gb hard drive from eBay. It came in a sealed static bag. I was happy with this, it was cheap and I like smaller hard drives. But I just checked the SMART attributes with several different programs and there are some readings that don't jive with a new hard drive. I'd like to ask for some opinions about this. I don't know much about SMART attributes but I see that the Read Error Rate is at 100 while the Threshold limit is 51. And although in the header the Power On Hours is listed as 5, in the SMART attributes list it's listed at 100. There are other readings that are past the Threshold also, but I just don't know if this is normal or abnormal.

Any comments on this?

Solution
SMART is all good. Relocated sectors - 0, pending sectors - 0.

It has been used for 5h. Brand new drive.

Current,Worst,Threshold - are normalized values. Meaningful info is in RawValues column.
