no bad files or bad sectors, so what is causing my errors? is the drive safe to continue using or should i get rid of it? the drive is completely full for a bit if it is relevant.

Solution
Run it again on a regular basis, e.g. once a week and check if the results change over time. If it's stable, then it may work fine for a long time. You should contact Seagate support before the drive is out of warranty if you're worried about it's reliability. If you RMA it, you'll get back a drive that's labelled as re-manufactured.
Hey there, greatfox56!

I'd agree with @GhislainG and advise you to run the HDD's brand-specific diagnostic tool. You should be able to find it on the manufacturer's official website. If you can still access your data, make sure you back it up somewhere else as soon as possible. Otherwise, you might lose your files. Having multiple copies of your files stored on different locations/devices is the best way to prevent any potential data loss.
Check the warranty on the HDD and contact the manufacturer's customer support, if it's still covered. As it was already mentioned, you should be able to RMA it and get a replacement from them.

Good luck! :)

Uncorrectable sectors ARE bad sectors, sectors in which the data was not recoverable.
(going by your title, I cant see pics)

Pending sectors are ones awaiting retesting.
Reallocated sectors are sectors that failed testing but the data was recoverable.

well every test i throw at it passes with flying colors, thats what i dont understand. ive tried surface scan, check disk, and seatools. most data on drive is games and all games work. i cant find any evidence of anything wrong with the drive other than the numbers on the SMART report

tested it again with seatools found no errors

Hey there again, greatfox56!

I'd still advise you to keep regular backups of your files stored somewhere else as well and make sure you monitor the HDD's behavior every once in a while, even if it passes the tests from the brand-specific utility. Did you run both - the short and the long tests from the manufacturer's HDD tool, though?

As I already mentioned, you should keep your gameplay saves and software backed up somewhere else, if this data is important to you. Otherwise, you risk corrupting the files, in case the HDD's SMART raw values increase.

Best of luck!
