Smart Gesture won't install

Ever since I installed windows 10, Smart Gesture has "been updated on my laptop" but when I search for it, all I find is an empty folder and the key bindings do not work. I attempted to uninstall it through the Windows Add/Remove Programs option and was unable to find Smart Gesture.

So I did a little research and found no help. I know from other Asus programs, that if I download the installer and the program is already installed, the installer has an uninstall/repair option. Smart Gesture did no have that option.

I tried installing it normally, but it failed on the last sliver left to install then proceeded to remove itself. I check the folder again (where Smart Gesture is supposedly installed) and there were files there. I tried the key bindings again (specifically the touchpad toggle) and it did not work.

I tried installing it several times and it failed every time.

I have Windows 10 (up to date), on an Asus Republic of Gamers laptop G75V.

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- First is to cleanup anything related to Smart Gesture.
- Press then Windows key + R then type %temp% and press Enter.
- Delete everything in that window except for those that can't be deleted just skip them.
- Press Windows + R then type in %appdata% and press OK. See if there's anything related to Asus Smart Gesture folder and delete it.
- Next is to download and install the software from Asus Support site.

- Just select between 32 or 64 bit. Once installed reboot your laptop then test it.

There is literally nothing in both the Temp folder and the Appdata. The install still failed.
