Hi everyone,

Anyone know what the "ECC Error Rate" FAIL means? Is it serious? I've got it appearing on a secondary onboard drive. All the other things on the SMART report are "OK". The values against the failure are:

Threshold: 0, Current value: 36, Worst value = 20, Raw Data = 98522936.

Thank you.

I suspect you have a Seagate drive, in which case the raw data are sector counts, not error counts. That said, I still wouldn't trust that drive.
