Smart System Adware

I'm getting an adware (visual and audio) notifier, called Smart System from Norton or Symantec. I use neither. Windows Bit Defender runs automatically on my computer as does Malware-bytes. But I have not done a Dell Backup & Recovery ever on my 3 year old Dell.

This notifier is a 3 x 4" window that rises slowly in the bottom right-hand corner of my screen. Not sure why that matters but I'd thought I'd state it in case it has some relevance.

Is that program listed in your Programs list (in Control Panel)? If so, remove it.

From the OP's original post, it seems he is running Malwarebytes already.

This could be a Norton/Symantec product that was installed along with another application, like Adobe Reader. It happens to users, often unbeknownst or unaware. Removal can usually, in these cases, be performed via Control Panel/Programs.
