Hi, today I bought a smart TV for my room. There is no TV aerial point in my room, I wanted it just for netflix/catch up. The shop told me it had in built wifi. However, I can't seem to access anything witout tuning the TV to channels, which I can't do because of no aerial. So how do I access the smart tv apps (netflix etc)?

Yes obviously I read the booklet. The options given under 'menu' and 'settings' are not the same on my TV as given in the guide, or online. Menu brings up picture, sound, settings, 'install and retune', channel list and media browser. Under settings there is no option to connect to a network, or anything like that.

Oh my god absolute waste of my time. I'm pretty certain they've sold me the wrong tv, the non-smart version of the one I wanted. I can only hope they will exchange it tomorrow. So annoying!

Yeh, the guy went to get it (and knew exactly which one I wanted, and had scanned to check it was instore) and then just put it behind the till for me, so I had no idea it was the wrong one. It's exactly the same but not smart. I'm really really hoping they'll exchange it tomorrow.
