Smashed Motherboard Pins?

So I had the new 1150 4770k running on a asus gene vi. Working fine for a month. Yesterday I went on facebook and it died. I decided "great my psu is dead". Nope it was fine, after testing... found that my pins in my motherboard (under the cpu) had been smashed. Literally all flat. Has anyone heard of this? I had a noctua cooler on it but it was one of there 120mm versions, not even the large one. Any ideas?

Lol well i am an idiot... the 1150 pins looks really weird and i thought they were smashed but apparently that is how they come >_< sorry for my idiocy
