For this I need to have symbols for 80 Plus Bronze, Silver, and Gold. So, I made some. At first, I tried to use images stored in my own web space:

This didn't work out because I'm only allowed 10 images per post. A reasonable rule I guess, although it's really my bandwidth not yours, and it's very minor in this case.

So, I made custom smileys:

[😛roximon:1] [😛roximon:2] [😛roximon:3]

However, I was surprised to learn that I seem to have a 10 symbol limit on custom smilies also.

Can I get some help here?

I SECOND this request to remove the limits on images or custom smileys!!!

I have a similar isssue with my thread... http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/274745-31-step-step-guide-building . To add additional images, I have to work on combining images into one or work with the Moderators to delete other members post, so I can increase my post lenght.

This isnt a bug, as its a design.
Would be better done in requests. but I agree, with all of it, and it needs to go thru admin, so PM justin, and see if he can push this thru, in case he doesnt see it here

My only other option at this point is to link a forum or site I create myself, and none of us want that. We need this functionality to continue on our project.

10 images per post limit was an generalized standard most forums adopted long ago when 56k was still common to prevent those users from dealing with 10 minute page loads by unscrupulous image whoring broadband users.


I think we've moved beyond that period now.

Just 256 custom smilies would be fine by me (if it's binary).
