SMITE running poorly on a good computer!

Hello everyone!

From the beginning of installing SMITE and playing it, I've had some microstutters and whatnot. I drop below 60 fps sometimes too which is the most annoying part. I can go down to the high 30's. I've noticed that Arena mode is the most (graphically)intensive one by the looks of things but I have only played Arena, Joust(least intensive) and Conquest(between the two). I've tried to cap the fps to different numbers but never below 60, as I just can't play below that. I've also tried playing with and without V-sync turned on, basically makes no difference, although I would prefer to have it on.

The reason I'm posting this is because I've tried to look for an answer to my problem but I haven't found any. I also found a suggested fix with the audio drivers and updated them as advised, didn't help. Now we come to the part where I just don't understand why I even have the lag problems as my pc is pretty good(mid-end). I'll only mention the parts I think are necessary.

PC-specs:

Graphics card: Sapphire R9 380 Nitro 4GB OC
Processor: Intel Core i5 6500 3.2 GHz
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x4 GB 2400mhz DDR4
PSU: Cooler Master G650M
OS: Windows 10

I realise that I should probably try to reinstall the game and see if that makes it better, but my internet is not the best and that would take me about 4 hours and I don't have that patience, as I just came home from school.

Finally, thanks in advance, although I'll probably thank each and every one of you again. Have a nice day guys!

whats your GPU+CPU+System Ram usage when playing/the stutters occur?
even tho their technically shouldnt be an issue with the hardware quality, might just be the game actually peaks some of the functions out which causes teh stutters in some situations

also V-sync doesnt "fix" you fps to 60, it just makes sure the FPS cant go above your monitors refresh rate, it can still easily go below

Graphic driver issue?

regarding teh reinstall, if you have bad connection set it to reinstall/download when you go to bed, then the 4 hours wont mean anything to you (yes that doesnt fix it here and now but still)

Alright, thanks mate. I'll check the cpu usage tomorrow after school. I won't reinstall the game before I've done that though.

Edit: So I checked the utilizations with the task manager (CPU+RAM) and hardwaremonitor for GPU. The CPU was at about 30% but one time it jumped up to 60%. RAM was at a steady 30-35% all the time. The interesting part though is that the GPU was jumping around, was at 6% sometimes at 100% other times and so on. However the game seems more smooth now that the underworld event isn't going on anymore.

I'm bringing this thread up again as the issue never really went away. It was smooth for like a day and then it got back to the jerky and unsmooth gameplay experience.

I've tried various fixes like reinstalling the game and lowering the graphical settings (I don't want to make the game too ugly though). I also tried this fix: http://forums.smitegame.com/showthread.php?66058-Smite-low-fps-and-stuttering-fix

I'll be very very thankful for any helpful answer. I have over 200 hours in the game now and I really want to get a smoother experience so I can get my shots with hunter gods, for example. Soon I'll be playing ranked.

Also, my drivers are all up to date.
