So I've been having some trouble with my PC. It crashed while playing a game and wouldn't boot since but would turn on. So I done some research and I heard a lot about it being the PSU, tried a new PSU but that didn't work.

I then tried a new graphics card and that didn't work either.

So that lead me to believe its the motherboard, I tried a new one but now my computer is smoking and smells like something is burning. Nothing is hot to the touch though.

Any idea what the heck is going on?

Original specs:

SSD/HDD: Corsair GTX Neutron
GPU: AMD Radeon R7

New PSU: Corsair CX750
New GPU: Gigabyte Radeon RX 460 4GB

Solution
I suggest you leave the case open and boot it up. That way you can physically see if anything is smoking.

Also, get something like CPU-Z and GPU-Z to monitor hardware temperatures while in idle and load. This will indicate what may actually be heading up
